Job Summary
Direct the overnight retail shift by managing sales floor replenishment, merchandise presentation, and seasonal resets. Delegate tasks to Outfitters, ensure adherence to standard operating procedures, and maintain visual presentation standards including signage and planograms. Execute nightly replenishment from backstock and distribution centers while supporting inventory management through on-demand counts and peg scanning. Coordinate special events, manage pricing and UPC integrity, and oversee performance evaluations for associates. Prepare weekly work schedules, conduct interviews, and coach staff to promote positive customer relations. Ensure all breaks and lunches are provided in accordance with regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 2-4 Retail Years
- Retail Experience
- Availability to work overnight shifts
- Ability to read and analyze certain reports
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to inquiries from Managers, Outfitters, customers and the general public
- Ability to conduct meetings and presentations to groups
- Proficiency with PC-based word processing, spreadsheets, data-based management and inventory management systems
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, Outfitters, customers and with the Base Camp team
