Job Summary
Overnight Supervisor daily direction to Outfitters on the overnight shift within the retail store, including sales floor replenishment, merchandise presentation, seasonal resets, inventory management, and price change execution. Delegates tasks and work assignments to team members, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures and processes through follow-up training and guidance. Maintains visual presentation standards, including in-store signage, merchandise directives, planograms, and daily recovery. Supports inventory management by completing on-demand counts, empty peg scanning, and pick requests during off-peak business. Coordinates all "Special Events," maintains pricing and UPC integrity, and determines proper assortments. Assists the Management team with supervisory responsibilities, including interviewing, training, planning, assigning work, and evaluating performance. Prepares weekly work schedules and coaches associates to promote positive customer relations. Ensures all breaks and lunches are provided for overnight Outfitters in accordance with state and local regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 2-4 Retail Years
- Retail Experience
- Availability to work overnight shifts
- Ability to read and analyze certain reports
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to inquiries from Managers, Outfitters, customers and the general public
- Ability to conduct meetings and presentations to groups
- Proficiency with PC-based word processing, spreadsheets, data-based management and inventory management systems
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, Outfitters, customers and with the Base Camp team
