Job Summary
Overnight the Supervisor provides daily direction to Outfitters on the retail store shift, managing sales floor replenishment, merchandise presentation, seasonal resets, and inventory management. Delegates tasks to team members, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures while maintaining visual presentation standards and signage. Executes nightly replenishment from backstock, distribution centers, and vendor deliveries, and supports inventory counts and empty peg scanning during off-peak hours. Coordinates special events, pricing integrity, and advertised item assortments in partnership with Management and Inventory Control. Assists with staffing by interviewing associates, preparing weekly schedules, and coaching the team to promote positive customer relations. Ensures all breaks and lunches are provided for overnight Outfitters in accordance with state and local regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 2-4 Retail Years
- Retail Experience
- Availability to work overnight shifts
- Ability to read and analyze certain reports
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to inquiries from Managers, Outfitters, customers and the general public
- Ability to conduct meetings and presentations to groups
- Proficiency with PC-based word processing, spreadsheets, data-based management and inventory management systems
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, Outfitters, customers and with the Base Camp team
