Job Summary
Overnight the Supervisor provides daily direction to team members, managing sales floor replenishment, merchandise presentation, seasonal resets, and inventory management. Delegates tasks with clear direction to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and visual presentation standards, including signage and planogram execution. Conducts nightly replenishment from backstock and distribution centers while supporting inventory counts and empty peg scanning during off-peak hours. Coordinates special events, pricing integrity, and performance evaluations for associates, preparing weekly schedules and coaching staff to maintain a positive, harassment-free environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2-4 years in a retail environment
- preferably in a leadership or supervisory role
- Availability to work overnight shifts
- Ability to read and analyze reports
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to inquiries from Managers, team members, customers and the general public
- Ability to conduct meetings and presentations to groups
- Proficiency with PC-based word processing, spreadsheets, data-based management and inventory management systems
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, team members, customers, and internal cross-functional partners
