Job Summary
Oversee the overnight retail shift by directing team members through sales floor replenishment, merchandise presentation, seasonal resets, and inventory management. Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures while maintaining visual presentation standards and executing nightly replenishment from backstock and distribution centers. Delegate tasks, monitor performance, and provide training to associates. Support the Assistant General Manager with special event coordination, pricing integrity, and staff selection, including interviewing, scheduling, and performance appraisal preparation. Maintain a positive, harassment-free environment and resolve customer complaints.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2-4 years in a retail environment
- preferably in a leadership or supervisory role
- Availability to work overnight shifts
- Ability to read and analyze reports
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to inquiries from Managers, team members, customers and the general public
- Ability to conduct meetings and presentations to groups
- Proficiency with PC-based word processing, spreadsheets, data-based management and inventory management systems
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, team members, customers, and internal cross-functional partners
