Job Summary
Overnight Supervisor daily direction to Outfitters on the overnight shift, including sales floor replenishment, merchandise presentation, seasonal resets, and inventory management. Delegate tasks and work assignments to team members, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures and processes. Maintain visual presentation standards, including in-store signage, merchandise directives, and planograms. Support inventory management by completing on-demand counts, empty peg scanning, and pick requests during off-peak hours. Coordinate all "Special Events," maintain pricing and UPC integrity, and determine proper assortments. Conduct interviews, train associates, and prepare weekly work schedules to staff the department with service-oriented personnel. Ensure all breaks and lunches are provided in accordance with state and local regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 2-4 Retail Years
- Retail Experience
- Availability to work overnight shifts
- Ability to read and analyze certain reports
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to inquiries from Managers, Outfitters, customers and the general public
- Ability to conduct meetings and presentations to groups
- Proficiency with PC-based word processing, spreadsheets, data-based management and inventory management systems
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, Outfitters, customers and with the Base Camp team
