Job Summary
Submit a Sub Availability Form upon hire and complete new forms weekly if availability changes. Maintain communication with club management, replying within 24 hours to accept or deny shifts. Perform assigned work shifts while monitoring club cleanliness, conducting regular audits, and balancing cash drawers daily. Audit and balance cash drawers daily. Input member information into tablets and point of sale, ensuring compliance with policies and guidelines. Stock retail and janitorial items, operate equipment, and assist members with amenities. Communicate with prospects, promote memberships, and represent the company at community events. Participate in team meetings and stay current on required certifications. Work part-time, nonexempt hours between 4 and 20 weekly, with shifts assigned based on availability and business needs.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- CPR Certification
- AED Certification
- Comfortable standing for long periods of time
- Great communication skills with internal and external customers
- Team-oriented
- Motivated
- Well-organized
- Ability to think critically and evaluate solutions to problems proactively
- Proficient ability in Microsoft Office and using a computer
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Familiar with Excel's mission, values, vision, and culture
- Familiar with the Planet Fitness brand and operational requirements
- Must be able to lift and move up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to occasionally lift and move objects up to 75 pounds
