Job Summary

Oversees daily store operations in the stocking and service areas, staffing and coaching team members, and ensuring exceptional customer service and achievement of sales goals. Responsibilities include staffing/hiring decisions, mentoring employees, maintaining store standards and P&L oversight, managing training, promoting safety, and driving continuous improvement through leadership and development programs.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-3 years retail experience
  • 1 year management experience

  • 2-3 years of related retail experience
  • One year of management experience
  • Rotational assignments in other areas of the store such as meat, bakery, produce and deli; also customer service and product flow experience
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly to team members
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve conflict by addressing root cause issues
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze financial and statistical information and use that information to make informed decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor team members
  • Successful completion of all required certifications
