Job Summary
Unload trucks, open containers, stock shelves, and rotate product to ensure freshness while monitoring for mis-picked items and reporting issues. Assist customers with finding products, reaching items, and carrying heavy purchases, then tag shelves and organize stock for efficiency. Clean and restock damaged items, report new inventory to the scanning coordinator, and maintain compliance with dress code and hygiene standards. Work alongside teammates to ensure a smooth overnight operation under direction from store leadership. This physically demanding role requires lifting 100 pounds or more and operating equipment like pallet jacks or forklifts, with certification required prior to independent use.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing 100 pounds or more, with or without mechanical assistance
- Ability to operate pallet jacks, forklifts, or similar material-handling equipment (operator certification must be completed prior to independent use)
- Ability to safely use sharp knives and blades to cut, trim, or grind product
- Ability to operate a cardboard baler or compactor
- Ability to unload, lift, stock, and rotate incoming truck freight and merchandise
- Ability to work in cooler or freezer environments for extended periods
- Ability to perform repetitive motions associated with dough mixing, scaling, and proofing
- Employment contingent upon the successful completion of a pre employment drug screen
