Job Summary
Overnight Slot Technician I for Miccosukee Casino & Resort (Part-Time): maintain video gaming machines for continuous operation; perform mechanical work to ensure machines are fully functional for patron use; install/remove machines, signage, seating as indicated; repair component parts; perform preventive maintenance; review audit reports and floor performance; circulate gaming floor to identify machines needing repair or guest assistance; maintain professional conduct; ability to work nights and weekends; 30-hour overnight shifts from 11:45PM to 7:15AM; requires English (Spanish a plus), high school diploma or equivalent, Tribal Gaming License, and 2+ years in gaming-machine maintenance or similar field; technical skills in Ethernet, PC hardware/software troubleshooting, and AC/DC components; ability to lift 20 pounds; standing/walking for long periods; smoking environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Tribal Gaming License
- Minimum of two years’ experience in video gaming machines’ maintenance or similar field
- Experience with network technologies such as Ethernet; PC hardware, and software troubleshooting
- Prior experience with AC/DC electrical components preferred
- Ability to stand for long period of time
- Must be able to frequently move about the property; manual dexterity; withstand walking, sitting for long periods, standing, bending, kneeling
- Must be able to work indoors and be exposed to smoke
- Must be able to lift or carry a minimum of 20 pounds unassisted
- Must be able to work with others; communicate well; receive direction; provide feedback
- Must maintain a positive attitude and greet guests politely
- Must handle stressful situations with tact and dignity
- Must handle supplies safely and hygienically
