Job Summary
Monitor security systems, including emergency call systems, and respond to alarms while maintaining routine rounds to ensure entrance doors are secure. Answer phones, screen incoming calls, and perform light housekeeping duties as assigned. Update logs of emergency phone numbers and resident face sheets, ensuring compliance with all Federal, State, and local regulations. Participate in scheduled in-service training and attend to other duties as assigned. This overnight security per diem role supports our contemporary person-centric wellness senior living communities near South Shore Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years' experience in the field of security
- Experience working with the senior population
- Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) with the ability to learn new applications
- High school diploma
