Job Summary
Conduct routine security and safety patrols of residential and commercial properties, verifying access credentials for residents, guests, and vendors. Monitor surveillance cameras, respond to alarms, and investigate notifications while ensuring all exits and windows remain secure. Report unlawful acts, suspicious possessions, and uninvited guests to authorities, then submit daily surveillance and incident reports to management. Work Tuesday through Saturday from 11pm to 7am in Teaneck, NJ, earning $17.00 hourly. Full-time staff receive medical, dental, vision, and 401K benefits with employer matching.
Required Qualifications
- New Jersey Security Officer Registration Act (SORA) license
- Clean/Valid Driver's License
- 2+ years of experience as a Security Officer or Guard
- Knowledge of local, regional, and state legal guidelines for area security and public safety
- Excellent surveillance and observation skills
- Experience with Closed Circuit (CCTV) surveillance systems
- Training in First Aid, Basis Life Saving (BLS) and self-defense
- Strong report writing and clear verbal communication skills
- A High School diploma
