Job Summary
The Overnight Security Guard is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of City Mission–Living Stones properties and residents during overnight hours. Key responsibilities include conducting foot and vehicle patrols, monitoring surveillance equipment, responding to alarms, and documenting incidents. The role necessitates strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent observational awareness, and the ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations. An associate degree in Criminal Justice or a related field is preferred, along with a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license
- Ability to pass all required background checks and clearances
- Minimum of one year of experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field
Desired Qualifications
- Working knowledge of emergency response, first aid, and fire safety
Additional Requirements
- Must be available to work overnight shifts, including weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime
