Job Summary
Overnight Security/Engineer at a luxury boutique hotel in Austin, responsible for maintaining guest safety and comfort during overnight hours while supporting basic maintenance and facility operations. Patrol interior/exterior areas, monitor security cameras, respond to disturbances and emergencies, secure access points, and complete incident reports. Perform light maintenance tasks (painting, plumbing fixes, light bulb replacement, HVAC checks, furniture adjustments) and assist with room inspections and preventive maintenance. Maintain a polished appearance, provide exceptional guest service, and coordinate with front desk and management for seamless overnight operations. Requires professional, calm, and guest-focused demeanor with strong communication and problem-solving skills; prior security/hotel operations experience preferred. Shift is primarily overnight; flexibility for weekends/holidays. Education and experience emphasize a high school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years in related fields; hospitality experience strongly preferred.
Required Qualifications
