Job Summary
Overnight Retail Cashier handles checkout, greets customers, applies discounts, and maintains a clean, organized store. Responsibilities include processing transactions, following policies for restricted sales (alcohol, tobacco), stocking shelves and displays, and assisting with additional store duties. Shifts include overnight 10:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m. with an overnight differential eligible if at least 4 hours fall between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. Requires flexible availability for a 24/7 operation, a customer-service mindset, reliability and teamwork, and legal eligibility to sell regulated products. Prior retail or foodservice cashiering is a plus, with opportunities for advancement and benefits offered.
Required Qualifications
- Must meet legal age requirements to sell regulated products (alcohol and tobacco)
- A willingness to jump in and help wherever needed
- Flexible availability for a 24/7 operation (including nights, weekends, and holidays)
- Prior retail or foodservice cashiering experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, can-do attitude
