Job Summary
Oversee safety and supervision of clients at a 6-bed residential treatment center by remaining awake and active from 10pm to 6am with continuous line of sight. Check on clients every 15 minutes, conduct facility maintenance walks, and assist with inventory checks while notifying the manager of any issues. Document all shift activity in KIPU and maintain facility cleanliness. Attend monthly Treatment Team Meetings. This full-time or part-time role includes at least one weekend shift per month and requires a valid California driver's license. Candidates must be at least 21 years old with 6-9 months of experience working with teens in mental health or substance abuse settings.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must be able to stay awake all night
- Must have at least 6-9 months of experience working with teens with mental health or substance abuse
- Must have 6-9 months of experience in an adolescent group home or similar setting
- Must be able to pass a LiveScan background check and clear federal and state criminal background checks, and child abuse indexes
- Must possess a valid California driver's license
- Must be willing to interact with COVID-positive clients, as needed
