Job Summary
Overnight supervision and care for up to six adolescents, ensuring clients remain in their rooms and conducting wellness checks every 15 minutes. Perform regular facility walkthroughs for safety and maintenance, manage inventory checks, and document all shift activity in electronic medical records. Maintain alertness throughout the full overnight shift from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM while supporting overall cleanliness and upkeep. Support adolescents ages 12–17 with mental health, substance use, and behavioral challenges during their 45–60 day residential treatment stay at Evolve Adolescent Behavioral Health centers in the San Fernando Valley. All schedules require at least one weekend shift, and staff must pass background checks and hold a valid California driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must be able to stay awake all night
- Must have at least 6-9 months of experience working with teens with mental health or substance abuse
- Must have 6-9 months of experience in an adolescent group home or similar setting
- Must be able to pass a LiveScan background check and clear federal and state criminal background checks, and child abuse indexes
- Must possess a valid California driver's license
- Must be able to work weekends
