Job Summary
Radiologic Technologist sought for AdventHealth Riverview, performing radiographic imaging procedures with emphasis on patient safety, ALARA principles, and high-quality image capture. Cross-trains into advanced modalities as needed. Responsibilities include positioning patients and equipment, selecting technical factors, ensuring accurate demographics and study information in EMR/PACS, maintaining clean exam rooms and safe equipment, transporting patients, and adhering to infection control standards. Requires strong communication, ability to coordinate with diverse teams, and proficiency with radiology software. Night shift duties with a $10k sign-on bonus for eligible candidates and relocation support up to $5k for eligible candidates. Must maintain required registries/licensing and comply with regulatory guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Technologist – Radiography RT(R) (ARRT)
- Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS)
- High School Grad or Equiv (Required)
- 1+ year work experience (Preferred)
- Maintain licenses and continuing education as required
- Ability to follow radiation safety concepts (ALARA) and proper imaging protocols
- Proficient with EMR and PACS documentation
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and team
