Job Summary
Ensure the safety and well-being of children in care, provide supervision to direct care staff, and monitor daily program operations. Follow all regulatory guidelines and professional standards while offering crisis prevention, intervention support, and feedback to direct reports. Orient new employees and provide ongoing training. This role serves children ages 6 to 21 with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder, within a residential treatment program focused on positive behavioral change.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college with at least twelve credits hours in a human services discipline to include but not limited to psychology, sociology, social work, education, pastoral counseling, political science, heath, recreation, criminal justice, counseling
- minimum of two years direct care experience
- 60 college credits from an accredited college with at least twelve credit hours in a human services discipline
- three years direct care experience
- Minimum of one year of supervisory experience
- Devereux is a drug-free workplace, drug screening required
