Job Summary
Overnight Program Staff monitors youth to provide a safe environment overnight, ensuring safety, documenting objective observations, and coordinating with staff and administration. Responsibilities include adhering to safety and abuse risk management training, managing high-risk activities, reporting concerns and policy violations, following mandated abuse reporting requirements, administering medications per procedures, transporting youth with the Boys Town vehicle when needed, maintaining confidentiality, staying vigilant through night-hours monitoring, and participating in meetings and trainings. Key skills include knowledge of regulatory requirements pertaining to youth care, professional communication, teamwork, adaptability, familiarity with the Boys Town Model, incident documentation, and ability to respond to emergencies while upholding youth rights and safety policies.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- Available to work flexible hours required
- Possess a valid drivers' license with a good driving record required
- Pass an annual Motor Vehicle Registration (MVR) check required
- Demonstrate to criteria while maintaining current in CPR and nationally recognized personal restraint model must be obtained during pre-service training required
