Job Summary
Conduct hands stacking, cutting feet material, and monitoring production lines while using a forklift to move materials and empty trash carts. Perform preventative maintenance, assist with start-ups and shut-downs, and execute QA core tests to adjust laminator settings and identify knit lines. Maintain clean scrap areas, change film on wrappers, and troubleshoot production issues by reporting defects and following lockout procedures. Work 4-5 days a week with overtime, weekends, and holidays, supporting shipping and receiving as needed.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year working in a warehouse/production environment
- Must be able to accurately read a tape measure, work instruction, finished product specifications
- Have general math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions and percentages)
- Beginner to intermediate computer skills (Microsoft office)
- Solid Communication Skills (written/verbal)
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
- Understand Root Cause Corrective Action Process
- Strong decision making skills
- Exceptional team player
- Able to drive a forklift
- Must be able to wear PPE (goggles, face shield, gloves, aprons, safety shoes, etc.)
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time on cement floors
- Must be able to walk, stoop, kneel and climb ladders and staircases
- Must be able to work on elevated levels
- Must be able to lift up to 20-50lbs on regular basis
- Must be able operate mobile equipment
- Must be able to work overtime as needed and have a flexible work schedule, including weekends
- Must be able to work OT, weekends, and holidays
