Job Summary
Stock food shelves with a variety of products by pulling back stock and trash to the back room using correct location codes. Work night shifts to ensure correct areas are stocked in a timely fashion with management. Maintain a friendly demeanor with customers while following procedures in an organized and efficient way. Lift up to 50lb boxes and stand for long periods of time in a fast-paced environment. Forklift and pallet jack operation is a plus. Join Meijer, a multi-billion dollar retailer with over 270 stores across six states, to help people provide for themselves and their family.
Required Qualifications
- Adequate knowledge of computer systems
- Comfortable using computer systems
- Process driven
- Ability to follow procedures in an organized and efficient way
- Ability to stay calm while working in a fast-paced environment
- Desire to work with customers on a consistent basis
- Ability to lift up to 50lb boxes
- Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling product
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Night shift availability
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of the operation of a fork lift and pallet jack
