Job Summary
Provide direct, unskilled personal care and hygiene assistance to adults with traumatic brain injuries in the Life Adjustment Program, including bathing, oral care, incontinence care, dressing, grooming, and assisting with meals. Communicate needs to residents and staff; complete required documentation; implement basic behavior management; maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality; assist with transportation for overnight roles using accessible vehicles; participate in housekeeping duties; attend team meetings and trainings; overnight shifts may require driving and 12-person buses. The role requires 18+ with 1 year (or 2 years) related experience, CPR/First Aid and QMAP considerations, and may involve background checks and health clearances. Part-time PRN overnight schedule from 10p-8a; wage range $19.00-$19.95 per hour; location: Grand Junction, CO. Benefits and background checks are noted.
Required Qualifications
- One year of related experience or two years of work experience
- Minimum 18 years of age (21+ for overnight driving)
- Colorado Driver’s License (preferred, required for overnight positions)
- CPR Certificate/First Aid Certificate (preferred)
- Qualified Medication Administration Personnel (QMAP) Certification (preferred, required for overnight positions)
- De-Escalation Training (preferred)
- Hilltop’s Transportation Certification (preferred)
