Job Summary
Parking Lot Sweeper operates a parking lot sweeper on the 3rd shift in Virginia Beach, delivering essential cleaning and safety services for shopping centers and parking lots. Responsibilities include reviewing routes, safely operating equipment, performing pre/post-trip inspections, following disposal and safety procedures, reporting equipment issues and incidents, completing logs, and communicating professionally with supervisors and teammates. Must follow safety procedures, maintain reliable attendance, and adapt to changing conditions. Requirements include High School or GED, 1 year of driving experience (waste/recycling preferred), a valid Driver’s License, and the ability to pass MVR, background check, DOT physical, and drug screening.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School or GED
- Experience: 1 year driving experience – waste & recycling services experience preferred
- License: Driver’s License
- Age: Must be at least 21 years of age
- Compliance: Must maintain an acceptable driving record and successfully pass a motor vehicle record (MVR) check, background check, DOT physical, and drug screening in accordance with Company policy and applicable law.
