Job Summary
Review routes in advance and complete assigned parking lot sweeping work on time with attention to quality. Operate the parking lot sweeper and specialized equipment to ensure areas are clean, while conducting required pre- and post-trip inspections to maintain safety. Handle materials according to disposal procedures and immediately report equipment issues, incidents, or safety concerns to supervisors. Maintain regular attendance and communicate effectively with team members and clients while representing the company professionally.
Required Qualifications
- High School or GED
- 1 year driving experience
- Driver's License
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must maintain an acceptable driving record
- Must successfully pass a motor vehicle record (MVR) check
- Must successfully pass a background check
- Must successfully pass a DOT physical
- Must successfully pass a drug screening
- Ability to follow safety procedures
- Ability to conduct inspections
- Ability to operate equipment responsibly
- Ability to comply with all traffic, site, and regulatory requirements
- Strong ability to plan routes
- Strong ability to complete work efficiently and accurately
- Ability to adapt to changing conditions
- Ability to maintain consistent, dependable attendance
- Ability to effectively communicate with supervisors and teammates
- Ability to represent the Company professionally
- Ability to promptly report equipment issues, incidents, or safety concerns
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75lbs at varying heights, including overhead
- Ability to perform frequent sitting and walking/standing
- Ability to perform occasional bending, twisting, squatting, kneeling, pushing/pulling
- Ability to perform limited stair climbing and crawling
- Ability to use hand controls, foot controls, and fine motor skills
- Ability to perform continuous reading, screen use, mental focus, and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to use appropriate PPE, including high-visibility apparel, eye, ear, hand, foot, head, lung, and skin protection
- Must be available for 3rd Shift
- Must be able to work outdoors with regular exposure to weather, elements, and traffic
- Must be able to handle occasional exposure to loud noise, dust/debris, and jarring conditions
- Must be able to handle limited exposure to chemicals
