Job Summary
Drive the parking lot sweeper and operate specialized equipment to clean assigned routes at shopping centers and parking lots while adhering to traffic laws and site protocols. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of all equipment, handle materials securely, and complete required logs and manifests accurately. Report any equipment malfunctions, near misses, or safety concerns immediately to management. Maintain professional communication with team members and supervisors, and adapt to changing conditions or challenging weather. This role requires a third-shift schedule in Virginia Beach with hourly pay ranging from $15 to $16.
Required Qualifications
- High School or GED
- Driver's License
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must maintain an acceptable driving record
- Must successfully pass a motor vehicle record (MVR) check
- Must successfully pass a background check
- Must successfully pass a DOT physical
- Must successfully pass a drug screening
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75lbs at varying heights, including overhead
- Ability to follow safety procedures
- Ability to conduct inspections
- Ability to operate equipment responsibly
- Ability to comply with all traffic, site, and regulatory requirements
- Ability to plan routes
- Ability to complete work efficiently and accurately
- Ability to adapt to changing conditions
- Ability to maintain consistent, dependable attendance
- Ability to effectively communicate with supervisors and teammates
- Ability to represent the Company professionally
- Ability to promptly report equipment issues, incidents, or safety concerns
- Ability to use hand controls, foot controls, and fine motor skills
