Job Summary
Two-person married couple role at Milton Hershey School as Full-time Flex Houseparents on campus in Hershey, PA. They will reside in student homes, supervise and mentor 8–13 students, administer medications, transport students to activities, plan and lead activities and devotions, supervise daily routines, manage household scheduling and budgeting, and participate in a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule with eventual placement as a same-home pair. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, retirement, paid time off, relocation assistance, and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Desire to lead students in daily devotions and attendance at Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
- Understand budgets and household reporting
- Ability to reside on-campus housing
- Willingness to participate in paid training and relocation assistance
