Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on-campus in student homes in Hershey, PA, supervising and mentoring a group of approximately 8–13 students. The role is a two-person, married-couple position, sharing duties such as supervising daily routines, administering medications, driving to activities, planning and leading development and recreation, and conducting daily devotions and Sunday Chapel. The schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in a single student home. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans, legal marriage for at least two years, both spouses aged 27 or older, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. The role requires a commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus with no alcohol on duty, and relocation assistance and paid training are provided.
