Job Summary
Overnight, on-campus Full-time Flex Houseparents for Milton Hershey School. Couples reside in student homes, provide care, supervision, and mentorship for a group of 8–13 students; responsibilities include supervising daily routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, and conducting daily devotions and Sunday Chapel. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed houseparent role in the same student home. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
