Job Summary
Overnight, full-time position placing married couples as Flex Houseparents in on-campus student homes (approximately 8–13 students per home). Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, managing household routines, administering medications, driving to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel attendance, budgeting and reporting. Initially nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in a single student home. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a legally married couple willing to work as a two-person team; includes relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Two-spouse marriage requirement for consideration
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No alcohol permitted while on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Willingness to become certified to drive student home vans
Additional Requirements
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Proselytizing prohibited on campus
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
