Job Summary
Two-person, on-campus live-in role for married couples to supervise and mentor a house of 8–13 students, providing guidance, supervision, and support; responsibilities include daily supervision, medication administration, transportation to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, leading devotions and chapel, budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from a Flex Houseparent to a Placed Houseparent role; includes relocation assistance and paid training; requires high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and being legally married for at least two years (both spouses, age 27+, must apply separately).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
