Job Summary
Overnight Operations Manager responsible for delivering best-in-class experiences to eaters and chefs by managing labor, productivity, quality control, and safety for CookUnity’s fulfillment and logistics; leads 90–100 associates, drives P&L, labor-cost management, and continuous improvement using Lean/Six Sigma; oversees fulfillment and last-mile logistics, 3PL relationships, data-driven decision making, and cross-functional collaboration with Customer Experience, Product, and Engineering to ensure reliable and scalable warehouse operations.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of leadership experience in order fulfillment, transportation, and/or warehouse management operations
- Effective project management skills, well-versed in Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement
- Proficiency with Google apps (Gmail, drive, spreadsheets, etc.)
- Experience using large databases and e-commerce frameworks (we use Magento and OnFleet)
- Ability to look around corners to anticipate problems before they arise, with a proactive approach to innovation
- Proven ability to effectively motivate and manage a high-performing team
- Outstanding organizational and communication skills.
- Excitement for working in a fast-paced environment with a high level of ambiguity and change
