Job Summary
Conduct patrols via motor vehicle to maintain a safe and secure environment for client sites, actively monitoring premises and enforcing regulations regarding personnel, visitors, and the area. Safely perform patrol duties both by vehicle and on foot in various weather and environmental conditions, including rain, icy surfaces, and uneven terrain. Interact professionally with homeless or transient individuals while maintaining sound judgment and de-escalation techniques. Work four 10-hour shifts with weekly pay, supported by training for those without prior mobile patrol experience.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- No tickets, at-fault accidents, or moving violations within the past three years
- Availability to work four 10-hour shifts
- Ability to safely perform patrol duties both by vehicle and on foot in a variety of weather and environmental conditions, including rain, icy or muddy surfaces, wet roadways, uneven terrain, steep grassy slopes, wind, and frequent stair climbing
- Comfortable and confident interacting with homeless or transient individuals while maintaining professionalism, sound judgment, and de-escalation techniques
- Strong communication skills with the ability to remain calm, courteous, and professional in challenging situations
Desired Qualifications
- Previous mobile patrol or field security experience
