Job Summary
Overnight Member Services Representative provides a welcoming, member-focused experience at the gym’s overnight front desk. Responsibilities include greeting members, checking in guests, promoting memberships and services (tanning, group fitness, childcare), assisting with membership sales, resolving member requests, handling phone inquiries, maintaining a clean and organized front desk, delivering opening/closing duties, and staying knowledgeable about club facilities, programs, and hours. Requires strong customer service, effective communication, CPR/AED certification (obtainable within 30 days), ability to lift up to 50 lb, and capacity to work overnight shifts while engaging with members to drive retention and satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a service-oriented position preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate proficiency in reading and writing skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- CPR/AED certification required (can be obtained within 30 days of hire)
- Physical requirements: ability to lift/move up to 50 lb; prolonged standing and walking
