Job Summary
Administer medications according to physician orders and community policies while accurately documenting administration in QuickMAR. Maintain medication schedules, monitor residents for side effects and condition changes, and promptly report concerns or refusals to the nurse or supervisor. Assist with medication inventory, storage, ordering, and disposal while following infection-control practices and supporting daily resident needs. Work full-time overnight shifts from 7pm to 7am with weekend and holiday availability. Required Qualifications
- Current medication technician certification or required South Carolina medication-administration credentials
- 3 years experience or more
- Previous assisted living, memory care, long-term care, or senior-care experience
- Strong attention to detail and medication-documentation skills
- Ability to recognize and promptly report changes in a resident's condition
- Dependable transportation and a record of punctual, consistent attendance
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position
