Job Summary
Oversee daily operations of CAMBA's Short Term Housing Program at 27 Winthrop, Brooklyn, ensuring client confidentiality, safety, and compliance with federal, state, and city security policies. Maintain professional relationships with clients and staff, input data into databases, and manage emergency crisis situations involving residents or personnel. Enforce Good Neighbor Policy, resolve conflicts, and coordinate programming, rounds, and client care services while monitoring safety protocols and staffing levels. Provide supervisory coverage during shifts, including lunch breaks, and ensure new client orientations occur within 24 hours of entry. Prepare performance appraisals, review time sheets, and generate reports for management and funders. Work the 12 AM-8 AM shift with flexibility to handle direct service duties when staffing is inadequate.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED
- 3 years relevant experience
- associate degree (A.A.)
- 2 years relevant experience with congregate or shelter supervisory work
- First Aid/CPR certification
- certification in overdose prevention
- F-80 Fire Safety Coordinator certification
- Must be able to work 12 AM- 8AM shift
