Job Summary
Oversee team member engagement and coaching for your span of care, driving recognition, feedback, and succession planning. Direct Leads and Team Leaders while managing area operations, financials, shrink, productivity, safety, and staffing forecasts. Identify talent, implement process improvements, and uphold Meijer standards through candid discussions to support growth and diverse merchandising. Analyze financial data to maximize sales and productivity, ensuring compliance and effective execution of corporate plans. Manage budget line items in the P&L and assign daily work assignments to optimize store performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 4+ years of retail/grocery or customer service experience
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with team members in a way that provides clear and precise direction
- Demonstrated ability to analyze financial and statistical information and use that information to make informed decisions
- Demonstrated ability to lead an organization that practices working safely at all times
