Job Summary
Supervise overnight grocery operations by managing a team to complete stocking, store conditioning, and cooler/freezer maintenance tasks. Train associates on inventory levels, freshness standards, and ordering procedures while ensuring all products meet company expectations for availability, quality, and value. Lead daily administrative duties including scheduling, pricing changes, and order processing to maintain accurate records and stockroom standards. Monitor on-shelf availability, cleanliness, and product freshness to enhance customer confidence and loyalty. Adhere to strict food safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance protocols, including executing product recalls and enforcing proper temperature logs. Report safety hazards, accidents, or illegal activities to store management immediately. Perform physical labor involving lifting up to 250 lbs and operating material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. Work varied overnight shifts with occasional travel.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age
- Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check
- Strong customer service skills
- Exceptional interpersonal, motivational and communication skills
- Ability to operate forklift, compactor, and pallet jack
- Proficient with computer applications used in effectively operating the department
- High School / GED
- 0 -3 yrs minimum
