Job Summary
Conduct daily building maintenance by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming floors while gathering and emptying trash. Service and clean restrooms, showers, furniture, and fixtures, and drive vehicles required for cleaning work. Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage, monitor building security and safety, and assist with inventory unloading. Remove snow from sidewalks, driveways, and parking areas using plows, blowers, and shovels, then spread melting chemicals. Notify managers of major repair needs and perform additional tasks as requested. Work a Thursday through Sunday 7am to 4pm shift, standing for up to 10 hours while handling loads up to 75 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Ability to work independently as needed to support the group effort
- Basic knowledge of cleaning products or willingness to learn
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and managers
- Must be able to stand up for at least an 10-hour shift
- Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, lifting products and supplies weighing up to 75 pounds
- Work with hot, cold, and hazardous equipment
