Overnight Maintenance Lead

Overnight Shift Lead responsible for safely inspecting, maintaining, and repairing company-owned or leased vehicles and equipment, supervising mechanics, and providing daily direction. Key duties include performing routine maintenance, maintaining maintenance records, scheduling and completing preventive maintenance per applicable guidelines, ensuring safe operations, reviewing DVIR reports, estimating labor hours, diagnosing and repairing heavy diesel/gas/electrically operated equipment, completing reports and work orders, coordinating parts and repair schedules, and maintaining a safe, compliant shop environment. Requires CDL, DOT air brake certification, 2 years of heavy truck repair experience, ability to follow detailed instructions, effective communication, and willingness to lead in the absence of the supervisor. The role emphasizes safety, training, and adherence to company policies; operates within a loud, physically demanding shop environment and may require frequent lifting up to 100 pounds and travel as needed.
