Job Summary
The Maintenance Engineer position involves operating, maintaining, and repairing building systems such as HVAC, BMS controls, and lighting. Responsibilities include conducting daily walkthroughs, performing preventative maintenance, maintaining grounds, ensuring equipment functionality, completing scheduled projects, and responding to service requests and emergency situations. Candidates must possess general repair skills, display proficiency in tool use, and effectively work in a diverse team. Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays is required.
Required Qualifications
- Possesses general repair skills such as carpentry and other general repair skills
- Displays skill in the safe use of hand and power tools
- Solves problems using facts and professional judgment
- Reacts quickly and decisively in emergency situations
- Works well within a diverse team
- Able to prioritize and change from one activity to another easily
- Be available on nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be well-groomed and in proper uniform while on duty
