Job Summary
Patrol all property areas, monitor CCTV and alarm systems, and conduct daily physical hazard inspections. Respond to accidents, administer first aid or CPR, and defuse disturbances while escorting unwelcome persons. Complete incident reports, loss prevention summaries, and daily activity reports, maintaining confidentiality of all documents. Conduct investigations, gather evidence, and interview relevant parties. Assist guests with room access, address service needs, and welcome individuals with disabilities. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to the manager. Perform physical duties including standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and navigating uneven surfaces.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds without assistance
- Must be able to lift objects weighing in excess of 75 pounds with assistance
- Must be able to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
- Must be able to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces
- Must be able to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps
- Must be able to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
- Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
- Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for an entire work shift
- Must be able to move at a speed required to respond to work situations (e.g., run, walk, jog)
- Must be able to read and visually verify information in a variety of formats (e.g., small print)
- Must be able to visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines (e.g., to identify defects)
- Must be able to enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems
