Job Summary
Evaluate medication orders for appropriateness, dosage, and potential interactions while ensuring dispensed medicines are correctly supplied and labeled. Investigate and resolve medication-related queries by communicating with facility nursing staff, physicians, and healthcare team members. Make recommendations for therapy changes when necessary and supervise the preparation of any medicines. Maintain the customer database including medical history and laboratory data, while keeping a register of controlled drugs for legal and stock control. Perform on-call duties as required. Work Monday through Friday from 7:00pm to 3:30am.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Pharmacist in the State of Georgia
- Monday - Friday, 7:00pm-3:3am

- Long Term Care experience
- Previous experience in Hospital and Retail pharmacy or other medical fields
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Computer skills
- Framework / ECM software knowledge
