Overnight Level 1 Medication Aide (L1MA)

Overnight Level 1 Medication Aide administers medications and provides direct resident care per individualized care plans, observes and reports condition changes to physicians and supervisors, documents observations and medication administration, and supports activities of daily living. Responsibilities include checking vital signs, glucose monitoring, insulin administration by insulin-certified technicians, ensuring medication safety (five rights), assisting with ADLs, transfers, mobility, and participation in activities; maintaining a restraint-free, safe environment; contributing to medication delivery documentation (MAR, narcotic counts); communicating with families and supervisors, and participating in staff training and development. Requires high school diploma/equivalent and state certification as a medication aide/technician; CPR/BLS and insulin certification preferred. Location: Wentzville, MO (US); on-site nursing care with equal emphasis on safety, documentation, and resident well-being.
