Job Summary
Lead a shift of one-to-two cashiers to process all types of cash, credit, and debit transactions; complete end-of-shift reports and close out procedures; follow guidelines with regards to the sale of restricted merchandise; maintain an organized and clean work area; use suggested selling methods to promote and sell products; ensure quality service is delivered to every guest; handle guest complaints and issues by following company processes; determine break schedules and team member placement during shift; assist with other travel center functions (deli, showers and restrooms, stocking, making coffee); model behaviors that support the company’s purpose and ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level; ensure activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures; complete other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience or working knowledge of retail operations
- Incredible customer service skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Proficient with a calculator, computer, and other equipment
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
