Job Summary
Lead inbound operations by unloading trailer deliveries, preparing merchandise for stocking, and managing daily/weekly workload to support sales goals. Assign tasks to team members based on traffic patterns, ensure product availability, and review backroom and sales floor areas to resolve gaps. Deliver guest experience commitments by training staff, observing operations, and holding team members accountable for safety, compliance, and ethical conduct. Support organizational changes, emergency response, and guest services such as cashier backup and order pickups while maintaining store security and merchandise protection strategies.
Required Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent
- Age 18 or older
- Previous retail experience preferred, but not required
- Lead and hold others accountable
- Learn and adapt to current technology needs
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Manage workload and prioritize tasks independently
- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members
- Effective communication skills
- Access all areas of the building to respond to guest or team member issues
- Interpret instructions, reports and information
- Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
- Climb up and down ladders as needed
- Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting, carrying, and moving merchandise up to 44 pounds throughout the duration of a shift without additional assistance from others
- This task involves repetitive bending, twisting, reaching, and rotating motions
- Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays); reliable and prompt attendance necessary
- Capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain job duties including but not limited to Drive-Up, carryout, etc.
- Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift (shift length may vary)
