Job Summary
Deliver food and beverage in a timely and accurate manner while consistently offering professional, friendly, and engaging service. Assist guests regarding menu items, double-check VIP orders, and immediately communicate special guest needs to the manager on duty. Paces all In-Room Dining order distribution and deliveries, checks outgoing orders for quality and accuracy, and assists with amenity delivery. Follow outlet policies, procedures, service standards, and all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage. Maintain departmental requisitioned supplies properly stored and organized, and assist coordinating removal of equipment from guest rooms and public areas. Work a daily assigned shift side within the luxury property's 1,048 guestrooms and suites.
Required Qualifications
- Previous Point of Sale System experience preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Constant standing and walking throughout shift
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs
- Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
- Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
