Job Summary
Oversee overnight housekeeping operations from 10 PM to 7 AM, ensuring guest rooms, public spaces, and team areas remain clean and well-maintained. Verify guest room status with the Front Desk, inspect rooms daily, and prepare work assignments based on immediate cleaning lists and prospective check-outs. Manage inventory, supervise inspection programs, and ensure staff have proper supplies, equipment, and uniforms. Administer policies consistently, track time and attendance, and handle guest complaints to maximize departmental financial performance and guest satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years' experience in hotel housekeeping or related field
- Effective communication both verbally and written
- Effective listening skills to understand and clarify concerns from team and guests
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
- Excellent time management
- A can-do attitude and a hands-on approach
- A flexible schedule that allows availability days, nights, holidays, and weekends based on the demands of the hotel
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in a labor organized environment preferred
