Job Summary
On Call Hospice Registered Nurse providing overnight in-home care across New Jersey. Respond to after-hours calls and triage patient and family needs from 5:00 PM to 8:30 AM. Make in-home visits for symptom and pain management, comfort care, and crisis response. Complete hospice admissions and pronouncements during on-call hours. Coordinate care and communicate changes with the interdisciplinary team and on-call physician. Document each call and visit accurately in the electronic health record per hospice requirements. Required Qualifications
- Active New Jersey RN license in good standing (compact/multistate accepted)
- Current AHA BLS/CPR certification
- Hospice or home care experience preferred; comfortable working autonomously on call overnight
- Valid NJ driver's license and a reliable, insured vehicle for home visits
