Job Summary
Overnight Grocery Stocking Area Team Leader at Meijer — plans, directs, and supervises team members in store operations across departments, mentors and coaches staff, drives customer service and sales, manages staffing and promotions, resolves conflicts, and ensures training and safety standards are met while maintaining store presentation and adherence to company policies. The role emphasizes leadership responsibilities, staff development, P&L awareness, shrink control, and delivering exceptional customer service during prime shopping hours. Requires high school diploma/equivalent, 2-3 years in retail, and 1 year of management experience, with rotational experience across store areas and demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and teach suggestive selling; certifications completed as required.
Required Qualifications

- 2-3 years of related retail experience
- One year of management experience
- Demonstrated ability to communicate to team members in the organization in a way that provides clear and precise direction
- Demonstrated ability to resolve conflict and address root cause issues
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks
- Successful completion of all required certifications
